Greetings all,

This is our first post and it begins in the holy period of one of the largest religion – Islam. Our dear Muslim friends are currently observing Ramadan where they fast each day from dusk to sunset, for a month. The end of the fast is marked with the sighting of the moon, just as how it began.

Truly, it must be a different experience during the COVID19 pandemic. As per other major holidays or events during this pandemic, many may not be able to physically share these times with loved ones. Some traditions are temporarily forgone in hopes to keep everyone safe.

COVID19 has also force change upon businesses. Many businesses dealing with direct clients would have to adapt and evolve to survive. Online video platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet has famously make its rounds by connecting people. While the government has implemented grants to aid and support businesses, not all will be able to survive purely on it.

One major aspect causing great change is shipping. There is currently major backlog, in the US West Coast port at least, causing much delays. International clients would have to expect longer lead time creating a domino effect of delays.

While each of us have our own challenges, we from Tech-Tone wish all courage and strength; take it day by day.
